A Monkey's Tale
3rd and 4th Primary
A Monkey’s Tale tells the story of Cappuccino, a young orang-utan living in a European zoo. His dream is to go on holiday to visit his family in Borneo. Miss Carole, the new zoo director arrives at the zoo and has lots of strict, new rules. Cappuccino decides to escape and find his way to Borneo.
Students take part! Learn the songs in class and then sing along to the Zoo Song, Cappuccino’s Song and In the Jungle. The audience helps Cappuccino decide his future and four students get the opportunity to take part in The Recycling Game.
"A Monkey's Tale" has been really good. The actors repeated the target vocabulary and asked students to take part in the play.
The play was a success and I particularly liked that there was a short time after the play to ask the actors questions in English.
The story is funny and easy to follow and students were engaged.
My students loved the music and learned all the songs.
The pupils had a blast!

I like the final part of the show when students get an opportunity to ask the actors questions. They love it!
Good work! I liked the music, the plot, the rhythm of the play and the way the actors repeated vocabulary.
