PRIMARY Under, Over and Around 1st and 2nd Primary Under, Over and Around is the story of a race around the world between great rivals: Rita the Rabbit, travelling underground and Bruce the Big Bad Wolf, travelling over ground. Rita realises she can’t beat Bruce but she has a plan! She phones her family around the world and asks them to pretend to be her. Bruce travels to Russia, Australia and Peru where he meets and enjoys breakfast, lunch and dinner with Aunt Alexandra, Grandma Sheila and Cousin Valentina. He’s so full after each meal that rather than running, he travels by bus, train and boat. The play includes memorable characters, repetition, song and audience participation. The play will grab the attention of young learners as we wait to see who will win the race around the world. The themes of the play are travel around the world, family and friendship.
